A COUPLE have transformed their tiny front garden into a scene from a supernatural horror film ahead of Halloween.
Dan and Kirsty Macklin got creative with budget-friendly supplies from a home improvement shop to recreate Samara Morgan from The Ring.

The 2002 horror flick follows the story of news reporter Rachel Keller investigating the mysterious death of everyone who has watched a videotape linked to Samara.
Kirsty posted their take on the movie on the Facebook group , which has over 389,000 members.
“Our efforts in our small front garden in the UK,” she captioned the post.
One photo showed Samara clawing her way out of a well that was illuminated by fairy lights, while another snap showed an open coffin.

Their home in Grovesend looked as spooky as their garden with an image in one window making it seem as if people inside were trying to escape.
They decorated their front door with a wreath and arch made from autumnal flowers.
The house transformation was complete with fire torches artistically placed on either side.
“My husband Dan Macklin made the decorations including the well,” Kirsty told The Sun.

“He made it from a big cable reel wrapped in a floor protector sheet which we spray painted to make it look like stone.
“Samara is made from a wooden frame and copper piping with a polystyrene head.”

Kirsty revealed they already owned many of the supplies used for the transformation.
"The head is from Amazon," she said. "The plastic sheet is from Travis Perkins, spray paint from Home Bargains.
"Wig from Home Bargains, lights from Studio.
"Fire torches Home Bargains and the oil to light them Amazon."
The couple is hoping to raise money for the charity Morgans Army with their Halloween decorations.
Their Facebook post racked up hundreds of likes from people wowed by their creativity.
One person described it as “brilliant” and another said, “It looks fantastic.”
A third commenter quoted the film as they heaped on the praise.
“I'm obsessed. We are intrinsically connected based solely on this photo. Seven days, my friend. Seven days,” they wrote.
“That's awesome, the ring coming alive...well done,” another added.

- Alien (1979): Starring Sigourney Weaver, this film follows a spaceship crew who investigate a derelict spaceship and are hunted by a dangerous extra-terrestrial creature.
- The Shining (1980): Based on Stephen King's novel, the movie stars Jack Nicholson as a recovering alcoholic and aspiring novelist who takes a a job as winter caretaker for a haunted resort hotel. Meanwhile, his young son possesses clairvoyant powers.
- Nightmare on Elm Street (1984): Wes Craven's horror classic introduced audiences to legendary villain Freddy Kreuger. This movie also notably marked Johnny Depp's film debut.
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974): An independent horror film, the story follows a group of friends who fall victim to a family of cannibals. It also introduces the character Leatherface.
- Friday the 13th (1980): Directed by Sean S. Cunningham, this film kicked off a franchise and introduced Jason Vorhees. follows a group of teenage camp counselors who are murdered one by one by an unknown killer. Among the cast is a young Kevin Bacon.
- Scream (1996): Written by Kevin Williamson, this film sees Wes Craven pay homage to horror classics - including his own Nightmare on Elm Street. The beginning of a long-running franchise; the cast includes Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.
- Poltergeist (1982): Directed by Tobe Hooper and written by Steven Spielberg, this supernatural horror film focuses on a family whose home is invaded by ghosts who abduct their daughter.
Other responses to the post were people eager to recreate the decorations for their own homes.
The eye-catching scene comes after horror fanatic Carla Bellucci said her neighbours complain about her decorations being “too much” for little kids.
She chooses a theme and hires actors for her spooky display which costs up to £5,000.

Carla, who lives in Hertfordshire, said her home is “the best house on the street.”
“I’ll be chucking water over the parents and giving the kids a scare if they don’t like it,” she said.
