Leah pointed out that the DIY B&Q kit is designed to be secured without the need for nails or a hammer.
For her first step, she applied the adhesive to the back of the border planks and placed them above her skirting board.
She made sure to use a level to ensure the panelling wasn't askew before securing it to the wall.
As the panelling was being attached to the area below her TV, she had to work around some electrical sockets.

This involved some measuring and sawing of the pre-cut panels of wood.
However, she was still able to quickly secure the border of the panels to her wall.
She then attached the middle panel pieces to each section after allowing the adhesive some time to dry.
Leah showed her followers the end result, which saw her plain new-build white wall elevated with a mid-way light brown panel.
Her followers shared their thoughts on the transformation in the comments section.
"I’ve just panelled mine but tried loads of shades, yours looks perfect!!" wrote one viewer.
"Honestly, I've definitely been influenced," said another impressed TikTok user.
