FABULOUS’ Sinead McIntyre has been named Editor of the Year.
The editor of the Sun on Sunday’s hugely popular fashion and beauty supplement took home the top gong at the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards.
Judges commended her “forward-thinking approach” championing inclusivity and celebrating diversity in fashion.
They also said Sinead “truly made an impact” and had set a “new benchmark for innovation in editorial leadership”.
“This editor’s forward-thinking approach has not only broadened the magazine’s appeal but also championed inclusivity in a way that is both bold and empowering,” the judges said.
“By celebrating diversity in fashion, she has truly made an impact, setting a new benchmark for innovation in editorial leadership”.
Sinead, who joined Fabulous in 2008 and rose to editor in 2015, was awarded the gong in the newspaper magazines category in front of esteemed members of the press, beating off stiff competition.
