People are only just realising they’ve been making beans on toast wrong – mind-blowing hack stops bread from going soggy
PEOPLE have been left mind-blown after discovering a hack to prevent beans on toast from going soggy.
Beans on toast is a hearty meal, beloved across the nation.
And whether you're in a rush, or just fancy something hearty and comforting for dinner, the British staple never disappoints.
However, as tasty as the meal is, it can be frustrating when the juice from the beans makes the bread all soggy.
Most people heat their beans up for a few minutes in the microwave, or put them on the hob to heat up.
However, one person took to Reddit to share an alternative method, that has sparked a lot of debate.

Posting to the Casual UK Subreddit, they said: "Who else likes their beans overdone? (*Cheese imminent)."
Underneath the text was a picture of some nicely browned toast, with some very overdone beans placed on top.
Because the beans had been cooked for so long, some of the sauce had evaporated, meaning that they looked less soggy than usual.
The bread remained dry, meaning that the user could enjoy their meal without having to deal with soggy bread.
The post sparked furious debate, with many others rushing to comment that they also use this hack to prevent soggy beans.
One person said: "Yep, I call them 'hotel beans', like beans in a buffet brekkie that have been under the lights for a couple of hours.
"Only way to have them!"
A second person said: "That's not overdone. That's just right."
A third added: "Truth. I know it's what it says on the tin, but just warming is the wrong way to cook them.
"Completely wrong."
More things people are only just realising...
However, others weren't impressed by the trick, and insisted that soggy beans are the best.
One person said: "You've got to leave them saucy so they soak into the toast.
