I’m proud to live in a new council house – trolls say I should be ashamed, I even got them to pay for garden renovations
A MUM has shown off her brand new council house, kitted out with three bedrooms and even a new garden.
Ashlan Hindle took to social media to reveal her new garden but it seems not everyone was chuffed for her.
In one clip, Ashlan revealed that shortly after moving into the newly built home she noticed issues with the garden.
While she was thrilled with the size of it, she soon noticed there was a drainage problem as it quickly became swamp-like in the rain.
She said: "Can I just start by saying that this is only been done purely down to their mistake so all the houses on our estate have been done incorrectly, leaving them unsafe."
The council had to add drains into the garden as it was constantly flooding and while there decided to redo the patio to the side of the house.

She admitted she wanted the patio extended further than what the council planned so she paid with her own money to have an extension.
Now the garden was finally useable new turf was also fitted so she and her daughter could enjoy it.
Despite being honest about her new council house garden, it seemed some trolls still had remarks to share.

"How much did this cost the taxpayer? pay for it yourself!" exclaimed another.
Ashlan was quick to hit back in another video asking why it was so wrong she gets her garden fixed.
She said: "why should I have to pay and rectify a problem that they created the people that built the property admitted that they were at fault."
"I complained about it because I pay a lot of money to live here and when a house states that it comes with a garden it should be a suitable garden in my eyes," she added.
The clips soon went viral on her TikTok account @with over 597k views and
