YOU can stop your lips from ever drying out with a 10p daily routine - and it’s even recommended by a dermatologist as a substitute for lip filler.

Mark Strom has claimed that applying a hyaluronic acid serum to your lips twice a day, and then covering it with Vaseline afterwards, will give you the most hydrated and plumpest pout of your life.

It comes as heavy snow settled in parts of the UK last night, with temperatures set to plunge even further to -10C.

“It’s possible to plump your lips without filler or other injections,” Mark claimed in a now-viral Instagram video.

He detailed how drawing upon the deeply hydrating properties of hyaluronic acid, and then sealing them in with a petroleum jelly like Vaseline, will boost lip volume.

“Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that will draw water into the lips, helping plump them up,” Mark said.

Petroleum jelly is occlusive and will prevent water evaporation from the surface of the lips.

“This combo works great for preventing chapped lips as well.”

Hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water.

When applied to the lips, it draws moisture from the inside to the outer layers.

And it’s not a fad, as a number of women claim it actually worked on them.

“I tried it and surprisingly it works,” reviewed Jenna Viese.

Paris Hilton reveals her intense beauty regime which is making her 'age backwards' - but not everyone is convinced

“No, it won’t have the same effect as filler and yes, it helps if you have fuller lips already.

“I’m 43-years-old and my lips have started to thin a little, but this has perked them right up.”

“This really works,” Angel Valdez added.

“I noticed my lips had shriveled with age and lack of proper hydration, but I’ve been doing this religiously and my lips are looking more youthful and plump.”

“I've been doing that for a year now,” echoed Maca Cabral.

“It's genuinely a lip saver. My lips are fire.”

Best Oils for Body Skincare

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is highly moisturising and rich in fatty acids (especially lauric acid), which help to nourish the skin and create a protective barrier. It has antimicrobial properties, making it beneficial for soothing irritation and minor skin conditions.

Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil closely resembles the skin’s natural sebum, so it’s excellent at balancing oil production. It absorbs quickly, moisturises without being greasy and won't clog your pores.

Almond oil

Almond oil - particularly the sweet kind - is rich in vitamins A, E, and omega-3 fatty acids. These help soothe, soften, and nourish the skin. It's lightweight, easily absorbed and has anti-inflammatory properties that are great for irritated or inflamed skin.

Rosehip oil

Rosehip seed oil is rich in vitamins A and C, which help to brighten the skin and promote collagen production. It’s known for its ability to reduce scars, stretch marks and fine lines while also hydrating the skin.
