FORMER Love Islander Amy Hart has revealed there's a certain question she's bombarded with about her time in the villa.
And that's how the female contestants managed if they got their period - considering they spent so much of their time wearing barely-there bikinis that left nothing to the imagination.
Amy responded to the numerous requests she got to answer the query in a as she admitted: "I don't really understand what you think I'm gonna say...
"That we're segregated in another room, or are only allowed to wear black bikinis?"
She insisted that definitely wasn't the case, and they just "got on with it", as you would do if you got your period when you were on holiday.
Amy also admitted she'd tried to avoid getting her period while she was in the villa, by taking two packs of contraceptive pills without a break in between.

"I personally ran my pill packs together because I didn't want to have a period while I was in there," she siad.
"And the doctor was like, yeah, that's not gonna work!"
While Amy insisted it would work, she admitted it "did until it didn't", which was "annoying".
"But yeah, you just get on with it!" she concluded.

Despite her answer, people in the comments insisted "getting on with it" wouldn't be an option for contestants if they suffered from particularly heavy periods or a condition like endometriosis.
"All you light flow girls that's great," one wrote.
"What about the other 80% of females?"
"Nah I’m a pad lover and my periods are HEAVY!" another insisted.
"I would not be seen wearing a bikini all day on my period.
"Blood would be everywhere!"
"I wonder if any girls with endo/adeno with heavy painful periods were in the villa," a third mused.
"Their experience was probably so different."
