KATE Moss is officially the most beautiful of all supermodels, according to science once used by the ancient Greeks.
The 51-year-old queen of the catwalk was found to be 94.14 per cent accurate to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi - which measures physical perfection.
Known as the Divine Proportion, this ancient Greek concept is a natural marvel, appearing everywhere from the blooming petals of flowers to the spiralling shells on the seashore.
The ratio can be applied to anything and was used by Leonardo Da Vinci for the perfect human male body in his famous work, the Vitruvian Man.
The premise behind this is that the closer the ratios of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful they become.
All the models from the start of the supermodel era in the mid-1980s right through to the cover stars of today were assessed at their peak to determine who is the most beautiful.

They were all close to the perfect score which is 100 per cent.
The list was compiled with the latest computerised mapping techniques by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, who runs the Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery in London and who uses the technology in his work.
He stated: "As the face ages, everyone's score drops a little but Kate has such stunning natural beauty that she would still score very highly today against the new crop of supermodels.
"All the models were ranked at the peak of their fame so that it was a level playing field and we had the fairest way of gauging who was most beautiful according to the Golden Ratio."

The term supermodel became popular in the 1980s and by the 1990s, supermodels were a prominent feature in the media.
The 'Big Five' supermodels then were Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Tatjana Patitz.
Claudia Schiffer and Kate Moss later joined the group along with Cara Delevingne more recently.
The highest paid supermodel in the world currently is Kendall Jenner - in sixth place on the list - who makes around £30 million a year, according to the wealth experts at Forbes magazine.
But how do they all fare with the golden ratio metric?
Here, we reveal the world's top 10 most beautiful women and how they rank, according to science...

How does the Golden Ratio work?
Dr Julian De Silva, who runs
The golden ratio, often denoted by the Greek letter φ (phi), is a mathematical ratio that is approximately equal to 1.618.
It has been admired and utilised for centuries due to its aesthetically pleasing properties.
Creative geniuses have used the theory to sculpt, build and paint beautiful works of art throughout history.
Leonardo Da Vinci employed it in his masterpieces the Mona Lisa, Last Supper and the Vitruvian Man.
The Acropolis in Athens, dating to 435BC, also follows the formula.
Known as the Divine Proportion, and originally set out by the ancient Greeks, it is commonly found in nature, from flowers to shells.
Experts say the ratio makes forms visually balanced and unconsciously more pleasing to the eye.
Now cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, who is based in London’s Harley Street, has combined the age-old theory with the latest in hi-tech computerised mapping to calculate the symmetry of famous faces.
