YOGHURT, one of few foods with the nutritious trio of protein, live bacteria and healthy fats, is big business.

Some researchers even believe the live cultures can help manage depression.

Today I look at new products that kickstart your body from the inside... and the shimmer blushers that give you a glow on the outside.

Nush Foods makes dairy-free yoghurts from almond milk (£2.15 for 125g).

They come in four flavours. There is also a cashew milk version in three flavours.

Some tasted a bit dry and lacking in creaminess but the almond with caramel and hibiscus is gorgeous.

Each pot has 145 calories. See .

The Collective has launched a high-protein yoghurt in a pouch.

Pro-Yo (£1.30 for 125g) is great as a breakfast on the go, though it has the texture of soft cheese in a tube.

Odd, but it’s fun, has more protein than two eggs in each pouch and the coconut, honey and vanilla flavour was tasty.

Each pouch has 115 calories.

Who wants a veg yoghurt!? Brown Cow Organics has launched two flavours: beetroot or carrot with turmeric (£1.75 for 170g).

It’s made without any sugar using Guernsey protein-rich whole milk, and I loved it.

Rich, creamy and tart with an earthy flavour – and 119 calories per pot.

Shimmer Me! Cherub promises to add a glowing pop of colour to the cheeks

With five shimmering shades from cream to pink, this palette has everything covered.

It promises to add a glowing pop of colour to the cheeks and it did just that.

It’s great value. Mixing all the shades with my blusher brush gave me a lovely summer glow.

Mid-range - Shimmer Waves Bronze

£16, The Body Shop

This versatile palette can be used in a number of ways to illuminate the face.

When swirling all the colours together to use on the cheekbones, I found it looked a little heavy rather than giving that light shimmery glow.

Using the top three colours on their own worked perfectly, though.

Luxury -  Tropical Daydream Celestial Skin Shimmer

This rose quartz blusher palette promises to add radiant warmth.

It gave me an amazing glow when I mixed the six shades together with my brush and I also used some of the individual colours for eyeshadow. My favourite.
