This is the reason Prince George won’t ever make a best friend at his new school

PRINCE George looked adorable as he started school today - but it's been claimed that he will never make a best friend while he's a pupil there.

Like every other 4-year-old in the UK, George put on his school uniform for the first time and was proudly dropped off at Thomas's Battersea by his dad William.

But one question Wills and Kate won't be asking the little lad when he gets home is if he's found himself a BFF.

Speaking on today's Loose Women, Jane Moore shared some of her insider knowledge of the exclusive prep school - and it's rules.

She said: "It's a really great little school actually for the reasons I think that it really focuses on kindness, it's a really big thing in that school and the pastoral care is amazing.

"There's a policy that if you’re child is having a party, unless every child in the class is invited you don’t give out the invites in class, which I think is quite a good thing as you don’t feel excluded.

"There are signs everywhere saying be kind, thats the ethos of the school. They don’t encourage you to have best friends."

That wasn't the only revelation, with Jane sharing what the future King could have experienced today.

She added: "First day they’ll very much bed them in - in terms of getting used to the classroom, playing with play dough and things like that.

"It's a very traditional school in the way that I learned when I went to school in that robust leaning.

FIT FOR A KING Prince George started school this week... and you won’t believe what his dinners will look like

"The phonetics of the alphabet and stuff like that which a lot of schools don't do anymore. He will learn to read and write very quickly

"They've got these really cute reception classes that are sort of different to the rest of the school, a bit like a nursery, tiny chairs."

But it's not only George who is expected to mingle and make friends with everyone - his parents will also be encouraged to get stuck in to school life.

Jane said: "It's a school that really expects parental involvement.

"The parents are very heavily involved in the school so they [Kate and William] will be as well."
