EVER wondered if it's possible to break your penis during sex?
It turns out it is possible - and apparently, there are a few positions where your chances of injury are even higher, according to new research.

What does it mean if you 'break' your penis?
There are, unfortunately, various ways you can injure your penis during sex.
If you and your partner are being particularly vigorous, you could slip out and violently bend your member, or tear your foreskin.
You could also end up with scratches, burns, bite marks, and even allergic reactions from toys and synthetic lubricants.
How do you know if you've got a penile fracture?
Penile fracture is a rupture of either one or both of the tunica albuginea (the membranes that cover the penis's erectile tissue.)
It is caused by rapid blunt force to an erect penis and typically happens during vaginal intercourse or aggressive masturbation.
If you feel any pain after sex, it's always important to visit a doctor.
In many cases, patients will leave their injuries untreated because of embarrassment, but you shouldn't if you want to deal with the problem.

Which positions are the most likely to cause penile fracture?
As part of a new study titled 'the relationship between sexual position and severity of penile fracture', doctors revealed which moves were the riskiest.
And it seems that the least exotic might pose the most harm.
Surprisingly, the study discovered that doggy style is the most dangerous – with 41 per cent of cases of penile fracture occurring because of this position.

- Woman on top
In at number two was Missionary, with the man on top. On average, this caused 25 per cent of penile fractures.
Closely following behind in third place was Cowgirl, also known as the woman on top.

The researchers noted that doggy-style and missionary could cause similarly serious penile fractures, 'breakages' caused by women on top weren’t quite so severe.
They said: “We do not observe differences between the severity of the penile fracture between the ‘doggy style’ and ‘man-on-top’, but the ‘doggy style’ had more severity of penile fracture when compared with ‘woman-on-top’.”
