A CAUCASIAN woman who now “identifies as black” has shocked This Morning viewers after claiming that she will “widen” her nose and get bum implants as part of her body transformation.

Martina Big, 29, from Germany, says that she has never felt comfortable in her own skin and had always dreamt of changing her body.

In 2012, she started having cosmetic treatments and surgery to alter her appearance.

However, after undergoing 22 procedures, Martina decided that she wanted more and, in January this year, began injecting herself with controversial tanning shots.

But she didn’t stop there, and she now says that she identifies as a black woman – leading many to criticise her.

Talking about her ongoing transformation, Martina, who used to be fair and blonde, told Holly and Phil: "Like with boys and their brand new car, they like to work on it and like the results.

"My skin colour has changed and I’ve realised that my eye colour has changed, my eyebrow colour has changed and also my regrowing hairs are more black, darker and going curly."

When it came to her extreme tan, Martina explained that she hadn't been able to go as "dark" as she wanted by using tanning beds, so visited a doctor for help.

She said: "In the consultation [I was told] that it would turn the skin and for me this medicine works especially good.

"I didn’t inject myself, the doctor did it, there were three injections… now I’m really dark."

When Holly pointed out that the £170 a pop injections were also unregulated, with no one sure how safe they actually are, Martina was quick to add that she had not experienced any problems.

She added:  “We had long consultation, it seemed to be safe and I’ve had no side effects – only being more tanned, my whole body.”

Martina, now says that she wants to change her body even further – by widening her nose and getting bum implants.

Martina, who now claims that she “identifies as black”, added: “Now that I’m a black woman I have to learn more about all these cultures.

“That’s the reason why, in January, I’m going to be going to Africa to avoid misunderstandings.”

And when questioned about whether she understood that race was far more than skin deep, and three tanning injections, Martina claimed to understand.

Shockingly, she added: “All these steps, having black curly hair, I’m also going to change my nose to an ‘African’ version, more wide, and also have butt implants.

“I like the curves of black women and I want to get them step-by-step.

“But, also, going to Africa… will be my first step to meet the people in person and learn more about the history.”

Her makeover has been criticised by the Race Equality Foundation, who believe she has a "limited understanding" of the challenges ethnic minority groups face.

Previously, Jabeer Butt, Deputy Chief Executive at the Race Equality Foundation, told The Sun Online: "It's a very sad and disappointing situation really if people assume it's just skin colour that makes you black.

"She has a very limited understanding of what it means to be black or an ethnic minority today, and the challenges faced.

"She has a very stilted understanding of what it means to be black - you have to worry about her and the people she surrounds herself with.

"Her story distracts from the problems black people are truly facing today."

Many viewers were outraged at Martina's transformation.

One Twitter user wrote: "Sorry #MartinaBig changing skin colour doesn't alter your race or make you beautiful. You have wasted your money".

Another added: "This woman is completely offensive to any black woman. This really boils my p***. She is 50 shades of madness and needs help."

We previously reported how Martina began to "transition" into a black woman and how she hopes to get "black facial features".
