Actress pulls on a sparkly Gucci dress after finding time for a laugh on the red carpet
CLAIRE FOY is best known for playing a young glamorous Queen Elizabeth II in the Netflix drama The Crown.
But the actress, 33, from Stockport, Gtr Manchester, opted for a fresh dressed down look of rolled up blouse and tapered oxblood trousers.
Her first appointment in her casual but refined look was at the launch of the 61st BFI London Film Festival.
Forget The Crown, Claire Foy also confidently played the clown as she made a face at photographers.
Later at the Opening Night gala, Claire pulled on a glistening Gucci dress on the red carpet for the European premiere of Breathe.
The film is directed by Andy Serkis, the actor best known for playing CGI creations from Planet of the Apes to Golem in Lord of the Rings.
Claire co-stars in the film with Andrew Garfield.
Although the sequinned and crystal adorned Gucci number was a cut above, Claire was still happy to rub shoulders with her dedicated fans.
