Bonkers new beauty trend sees people wearing long NOSE HAIR… so would you try it?
The look has been pioneered on Instagram, but not everyone is that happy about it
WEIRD eyebrows are so last month, now we're moving on to a new trend... for long NOSE HAIR.
The bonkers look is being shared on Instagram, and beauty fans can't work out quite how they feel about it.
It was started by a user called Gret Chen Chen, who posted a photo of herself with "nose hair extensions" firmly in place.
The spidery look seems to have come from a set of fake eyelashes, which the beauty expert twisted into each of her nostrils.
Almost immediately it became a point of discussion, with users quick to comment on the out-there look.
One said it was "cute and naughty at the same time", with another marvelling over how "creative" the idea was.
Of course not everyone was quite so taken, with another Instagrammer commenting: "Those look horrible sorry but it's true."
Going a step further, one person claimed they were the "ugliest" thing they'd ever seen.
Like any good trend they've sparked some copycats though, with user Davisonvideo deciding to give them a go too.
"I couldn't not try the @gret_chen_chen nose hair extension trend... I also added lip lashes. ;) Tutorial soon!" she added to her shot.
It looks like unique look is going to struggle to make it into the mainstream though, with many Twitter users baffled by it.
They've been taking to the social media site to discuss the hairy look, and it seems most have no intention of giving it a go.
One popular tweet which was shared multiple times read: "Nostril hair extensions are a thing now, and I think I'm done with make-up."
That seems to be the overall feeling on the look, with many beauty fans saying it's a step too far and not something they can get on board with.
Given we've had squiggle brows and braided eyebrows, that's really saying something.
