Move over beer pong, there’s a new version in town that’s sending gin lovers into a frenzy
You can now add a classy touch to your party with a gin pong set from Getting Personal for £13.99
FORGET beer pong, there is now a classy alternative to the popular drinking game and it looks gin-credible.
An online retailer has launched gin pong, which comes complete with 12 plastic green and gold gin tumblers and four coloured ping pong balls (how civilised).
The drinking game extravaganza is being sold by gift company , and is set to hit shelves before Christmas – just in time for the festive party season.
The gold-rimmed glasses, which are a twist on the American classic “Beer Pong”, cost £13.99 and claim to be perfect for gin o’clock.
A description on the website reads: "Make your party gin-credible with the drinking game Gin Pong! It includes 12 plastic green and gold gin tumblers, two yellow and two green ping pong balls.
"The aim is to throw the ball into your opponent's glass and drink every time one of you shoots and scores!
"It's a fun gift for a gin lover and makes the perfect addition to any girls' night, hen do or Christmas party."
Gin lovers have been going wild for the alcoholic drinking game online already.
One Twitter user said: "My life is complete."
Another way to incorporate gin into the Christmas period is with John Lewis’ gin advent calendar.
The posh retailer is launching an Edinburgh gin calendar with 25 bottles of 5cl of varying flavours.
This includes the original Edinburgh Gin, navy-strength Cannonball Gin and briny Seaside Gin.
Sadly, the posh advent calendar comes with the hefty price tag of £100.
Alternatively gin lovers can now buy a range of Christmas jumpers based on the popular drink.
Online retailer Not On The High Street has launched an “gin-credible” featuring two green bottles hanging like baubles.
