Jeremy Kyle slams guest who cheated on her fiance while he was DYING in intensive care… and now keeps telling him he’s not the father of their kids

JEREMY Kyle has slammed a guest who cheated on her fiance while he was dying in a hospital bed.

"Nasty" mum Mel had sex with another man, who used to be her "friend with benefits", while Sean was in intensive care.

As they appeared on his show today, Jezza asked her: "How could you, when you think your man is dying, when you think your man might suffer irreparable brain damage, be out having sex with somebody?

"What sort of human being does that?

"I would understand somebody going out getting slaughtered, having a drink, maybe crying into the arms of somebody saying ‘I can’t cope’.

"I watched my mother die six months ago. My old man could barely go to the hospital because he couldn’t handle it.

"I don’t understand how you go from ‘I couldn’t handle it’, to ‘I’m gonna have sex with a stranger’."

But, to the TV host's horror, Mel replied: "It wasn’t a stranger. It was someone who I was having sex with years ago. I wasn’t in a relationship with him."

Kyle asked: "He was a friend with benefits? So there’s your old man, dying you’re told, and you just phone up your friends with benefits man."

Crying on stage, Mel replied: "I got told when he was in intensive care after three days that the machine would be turned off. And my mind wasn’t thinking straight.";

But an unsympathetic Kyle replied: "You must have got the shock of your life when he came round."

Labelled a "sap" by Jezza, Sean insisted he did trust his wife.

He said: "When she told me it sort of destroyed me at the time, but I thought, 'no I’m going to make this work', because she’s my soul mate, she’s my best friend."

Now six months pregnant, Mel regularly tells Sean that their kids aren't his - forcing him to seek a DNA test on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

Asked when it last happened, Sean said: "Last week. I don’t feel I can bond with my son as much as I want to, because of that."

Jezza asked Mel: "Why do you still, months down the line, tell him that the kid isn’t his? Because that to me is even worse (than cheating).

";Why would you tell him up to a week ago that he’s not the father of the babies?"

Mel blamed her comments on the pregnancy hormones - and insisted that Sean is the dad. She added: "I regret cheating on him."

A DNA test result revealed that Sean is indeed the father of Mel's kids.
