Man with dwarfism marries his long-distance lover in a HOBBIT house following Facebook romance

The happy couple tied the knot after falling in love 'pretty instantly'

A MAN with dwarfism has marked his marriage with a wedding ceremony in a Hobbit house.

32-year-old Phil Lusted, who has bone development disorder diastrophic dysplasia, was wed to his long distance girlfriend this week.

In 2016, the pair hit it off on Facebook, after Kathleen Brogan spotted a snap of three-foot-tall Phil's tattoo.

The intricate inking plays homage to Yoda and includes the words: "Judge me by my size do you?"

Star Wars fan Kathleen, who is from Seattle, was a complete sucker for the tatt.

Despite the fact that there was a 4,589 mile distance between them, the pair continued chatting and fell for each other "pretty instantly".

Their big day was far from conventional, as the couple decided on a Hobbit house for their ceremony.

Phil, 32, said: “The day went great and mostly as planned. It had been raining for a few days but an hour before the wedding the sun came out, which was perfect.

“We did stop halfway through though because Kathleen left her speech in the car. She ran and got it - it was funny.

“The Hobbit house was great. It was decorated with pumpkins and lights which made it look really nice.

“My favourite moment was saying my vows to Kathleen and placing the ring on her finger, then we officially became husband and wife.”

Accountant Kathleen couldn't be more loved-up.

Describing Phil, said said: "he's one of the kindest, most loving humans I’ve met.

"He is caring and devoted to everything we share. He’s hilarious, brilliant and a total babe.

“The foundation of our relationship is built on the same principles anyone else’s is, we love each other unconditionally, and strive to choose each other every day.”

The 27-year-old also reflected on the wedding, remarking: “It was over in the blink of an eye, the day went so fast.

“I wish I could have paused it somehow and embraced every moment.

“It was unbelievably beautiful. It was just as we planned and was so nice to have loved ones there with us.”

Phil is now considering a move to Seattle to live with Kathleen.

The Lusted family, who are from Rhos-on-Sea, north Wales, couldn't be more chuffed for the happy couple.

Last year, Phil's brother James, who also has dwarfism, tied the knot to his 5ft 8ins girlfriend Chloe Roberts.

Traditional weddings seem to be on the out.

Earlier this year, a toddler couple aged three and five got 'married' in a £230 pretend ceremony.

And you can now get a Disney princess dress for the special day.
