Super slimmer claims she’s happiest as a curvy size 14 after deciding being a size 10 made her miserable
Woman who shed five stones urges dieters to understand 'happiness is not a size' and that she prefers her curvier present day figure than when she was at her thinnest... and dreaming of carbs
SUPER slimmer Ioana Chira claims she's happier as a curvy size 14 than she was a size 10.
The Romanian-born blogger, 26, has inspired and encouraged countless people with her weight loss journey, but she's now teaching them the most important lesson of all.
Along with three photos of her at her heaviest, lightest and how she is now, she told her followers that she is happiest as a size 14.
She : "2014->2015->2017 This is for everyone who got confused with my post the previous day.
"I went from big ->slim->thick. That's why you should believe me when I tell you happiness is not a size.
"You can say the middle is however I wasn't as happy and confident as I am now.
Ioana said: “I wasn’t particularly unhappy especially since I had my boyfriend at the time who would always tell me how beautiful I am.
“The part that used to make me really insecure was going shopping.
“My legs have always been bigger than the average person’s and I used to hate them so much, no trousers would ever fit me.
“On March 2014, I made the decision to change my life and I’ve promised myself that this time I won’t give up on me.”
She overhauled her lifestyle, and now sticks to between 2,000 and 2,500 calories a day and goes to the gym five times a week, making a beeline for the Zumba classes.
Making the changes has improved Ioana's mental and physical health, and she says "investing" in herself is "the best decision of my life."
She added: "My legs are not getting swollen anymore, I don’t have back pain and I’m extremely flexible and full of energy.
“Besides the physical change, I am extremely proud of the mental change.
"I’ve proved to myself that I can do it. I’ve proved that all you need is willpower, ambition and consistency.
“I feel extremely confident now; I love my body and I know that I can achieve my goals and dreams if I work for it."
But despite Ioana's positive outlook, she has been forced to hit back at trolls who cruelly accused her of retouching her images.
She saidd: “Plus size women should be promoted more. A big help would be to stop re-touching magazine pictures and show the reality instead of an airbrushed image.
“My profile is all about being real. A lot of the curvy girls have self-esteem issues, especially when it comes to dressing up or going to the gym.
“I am showing my daily outfits to make my girls realise that it’s all about confidence; that’s what actually makes the clothes look good on you.
“On social media, follow people who inspire you and give you the motivation you need. Surround yourself with positive people because you will need a lot of positive vibes throughout your journey.”
You don't need to be a super slimmer to feel happy in your own skin - this 36 stone mum claimed that she "finally felt accepted" as she holidayed at a resort for overweight guests.
Meanwhile, this nurse was inspired to slim down after reading a text message referring to her as "fattie" on a man from the pub's phone.
