THEY’RE the out-of-control party girls who are supposed to be on a “spiritual journey” with the help of some patient nuns.
But the stars of Channel 5’s Bad Habits, Holy Orders stunned the ultra-conservative women from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Swaffham after enjoying a very boozy night down the pub.
Life in the convent - where the girls have embarked on a month-long back-to-basics life rehab - is clearly taking its toll as the second week of the experiment gets under way.
Former dancer Rebecca, 19, from Newcastle, is struggling with the sex ban, telling the camera: “This is the longest I’ve gone without sex. I’m not going to lie. I’m missing it.
“I find it really strange the sisters haven’t had sex at all. It’s wicked.”
In a bid to cheer them up, the kindhearted nuns decide to surprise the girls with a Valentine’s Day meal and a cheeky glass of wine each.
The fizz goes down a treat, and Sarah, a 19-year-old nightclub hostess from London, asks Sister Francis if they could be let out of the convent to go to the pub.
Sister Francis is apprehensive, but allows them to go as long as they agree to be back by 9.30pm. She said: “It’s a bit of a challenge but I think it’s a good idea they release some of their tension.”
The girls’ glam up in skimpy outfits, tons of make-up and towering high heels.
The outfits shock Sister Francis who warns them “not to make a fool of yourselves”.
The squad hit the local pub where they decide to each order a bottle of wine and a round of shots.
While in the convent, the girls are forced to live on a £25 monthly allowance and their mobile phones are banned.
As the booze flows, they start twerking, smoking and snogging one another.
Meanwhile, the nuns are enjoying a quiet night in with Jenga and crosswords.
The girls manage to make it back for the curfew – but stagger back to the convent with their bums on the show.
Two of the hungover girls end up fighting during their cathedral trip
Their behaviour doesn’t go down well with viewers who vented their frustration on Twitter.
One wrote: “OMG her bum is hanging out.” While another posted: “They just have no class on a night out.”
Others claimed they were being “disrespectful” to the nuns.
The next day the nuns decide to take the girls to Norwich cathedral, where they are given a tour of the pews and are taken up to the roof to see the views of the city.
But it all gets a bit much for Rebecca and Tyla, a 22-year-old party animal from Leeds, who are scared of heights.
Rebecca grips the stone walls and moans: “I love roller-coasters and that but this is totally different.”
Her whining angers Tyla who snaps: “Stop being a f***ing drama queen and shut your mouth. Other people panic, it’s not just about you love.”
Rebecca has to be held back by one of the nuns as she shouts: “Can you help it if you’re having a panic attack, no?”
Tyla is quickly led away by Sister Linda. The following day, she apologies for her outburst.
“I was disrespectful because at the end of the day I was on top of a cathedral, and the words that I was using are not words that you guys hear often,” she said.
“I’ve woke up this morning and I’m fine. There’s no maliciousness towards her.”
The pair make-up, and Rebecca says: “I think being here, it’s taught us that life’s too short and we’re not kids any more.
“Being here I think we’ve all changed as people, I think I’ve change a lot, I’m a better person.”
Later, the nuns show the girls that they can have a good time without alcohol.
One nun performed the robot dance as she joined in the fun, with the group later doing a conga-style dance.
In last week’s episode, the girls stunned the nuns with their array of flesh-flashing clothing.
And, they were slammed by viewers after sneaking vodka into the convent.
