While the bottles only bear a slight resemblance, both have feminine and musky notes.

100ml of the designer fragrance will set you back £97.20, but bottles typically come in 25ml or 50ml sizes.

Comparatively, retails at £6 for 100ml.

You will get sleeker looking packaging if buying Estée Lauder's bottle, but some shoppers think the scent of the product is almost identical.

Some reviewers have taken to to pass their verdict on the high-end perfume dupe.

One bargain hunter said: "To me this is a dupe of Estée Lauder Sensuous, enjoyable autumn/winter scent."

Another agreed: "Smells outstandingly identical to Estée Lauder Sensuous. Definitely a warm, comforting scent."

The only difference customers seemed to note was that the M&S perfume doesn't last as long on the skin.

One reviewer pointed out that the longevity was only "average".

Another agred: "It lasts 5 hours OK, could be better."

A third added: "Unfortunately it only lasted about an hour on me."

Next isn't the only retailer to impress with their budget scents.

Primark’s new perfume range is in stores now… and prices start at just £3.

And even IKEA has waded in on the high-street fragrance war.
