Try out these simple four steps to give yourself fuller, natural looking brows
BIG up your brows with these simple steps to help you feel wonderful this winter.
Check out these wonderful products and ideas to feel fresh.
Step 1
Using a disposable brush like Studio London Mascara Wands, £3.99 for 12, comb all your eyebrow hair upwards.
This will expose any gaps and allow you to see any longer individual hairs that need trimming.
Use small nail scissors to avoid creating bald spots.
Step 2
Draw on the desired shape with an eyebrow pencil.
The brow should start directly above the inner corner of your eye and finish on a 45˚diagonal angle to your eye’s outer corner.
Avoid drawing on an arch, and instead follow the natural shape.
We heart Revlon Colorstay Brow Pencil, £6.99, available in four shades, so select the hue closest to your natural hair roots.
The slanted tip goes on smoothly without pulling at the skin, and doesn’t budge.
Step 3
Fill in any gaps with an eyebrow powder such as NYX Professional Makeup Eyebrow Cake Powder, £6.
The palette has two shades – the darker for the inner half and the lighter for the outside.
Use a slanted brush and apply in light, sweeping motions to avoid overdoing the application.
Try Zoeva Rose Golden Vol.2 322 Brow Line Brush, £8 – the head is small enough to give you complete control.
Step 4
Fix in place with a brow-setting gel.
Glossier Boy Brow in Brown, £14, keeps the hair groomed without being too sticky and boosts thin brows for a fuller, on-trend finish.

Help! I generally have good skin, but every so often I suffer from large white-headed spots. Is there a safe way to pop them? Susie, London
I’m going to let you into a secret. I’ve written endless features about how popping spots will make them worse, yet behind closed doors I’ve definitely had a squeeze or two. So I sought advice from dermatologist
Dr Sandra Lee – AKA Dr Pimple Popper – who has over 3 million YouTube subscribers.
She explained that once the blemish gets a white or yellow head it’s OK to squeeze, but make sure your fingers are clean. Washing with warm water to open the pores will make it easier, too.
If the spot doesn’t pop easily, it’s not ready. Prodding may cause irritation and scarring. But if you’ve broken through, squeeze until all the pus is removed and you see a trace of blood.
Finish with a treatment like Murad Blemish Spot Treatment, £15. It contains benzoyl peroxide, which stops bacteria getting into the skin, preventing more blemishes.
