How to get Santa to text or call your kids this Christmas if they’re being naughty?
Including where to find the official naughty or nice list
WRITING to Father Christmas is an age old tradition but it seems even Santa himself has got on board with modern technology.
Rather than putting pen to paper Father Christmas now keeps in touch with those on his naughty & nice list via text & Facetime - but how can you get a call from Jolly Old St Nic? We reveal all.
How can Santa call or text your kids this Christmas?
Thankfully, parents have a way to bargain with their children ahead of the big day.
All kids want presents, so they wouldn't want to hear that Santa knows they are misbehaving.
Phone apps
With the help of phone app, , mums and dads can now request a special message from Father Christmas himself.
You can get St Nick to deliver a warning - either by text, phone call, or via a video call.
You can add names, ages, as well as your children's hobbies and interests to tailor the message.
And, you won't have to wait long for Santa's reply either as he will get back to you instantly.
LATEST ON CHRISTMAS
The app can also be used to encourage good behaviour with Santa ringing your children to keep up the good work.
It is free and available to download from the Apple store and Google Play.
The app's been around for a while and some of its features are still free.
However, to get rid of all the ads and access more of the personalised features, you would have to pay for a premium upgrade that's set up with an auto-renewal every month.
Portable North Pole
is another app that also helps parents bring Santa to your children without leaving the house.
You can create magical personalised messages from Santa and it will let your loves ones know if they made it to his Nice List!
Besides the ability to message and call Santa, you can also take the magic a step further by using this app to arrange a video call from Santa himself.
Catch Santa in My House
Catch Santa in My House is another useful app if you're trying to persuade your growing child that Santa is real.
With this app you can make it look like Santa was in your house by adding him, his reindeer, or elves into your home photos.
Facetime
is one such website that allows you to set up a private video call with the man himself.
The 10-minute calls start at £26.99 and the price depends on when you want the call to be.
If you would like the call on the week or weekend before Christmas, the price jumps to £31.99.
For a call on Christmas eve, the price is £41.99.
Alternatively, you could achieve the same success by asking one of your friends to ring up pretending to be Santa.
Sadly, we don't think this trick will work with any moody teenagers, so you may need to use an alternate form of bribery for them!
Naughty or Nice list
There is an official naughty or nice list you can access online.
All you have to do is enter your child's first name on their and see what category they fall under.
It all looks very official and convincing, so as well as being a bit of Christmas fun, it might be a good way to keep the children in line when they see that Santa takes his list very seriously.
