2017 has been the year of wacky nail trends, as more and more beauty enthusiasts are ditching traditional manis for quirky, alternative designs.
From "selfie nails" to sticking HAIR on the end of your talons, Instagrammers are going all out to make a statement with their hands.
But this latest wacky manicure takes gold when it comes to originality - and downright weirdness.
Moscow-based beauty salon posted this clip of one of its clients getting a "fish tank" mani on its Instagram page.
Not only does the woman end up with a mini fish bowl on the end of her finger, but there's a live fish in there as well.
We were relieved to read that apparently no aquatic animals were harmed during the making of the video.
Unsurprisingly the bonkers video has notched up more than 1.3 million views since it was posted five days ago.
Though it's received a lot of negative feedback in the comments, with people not happy about the inclusion of the live fish.
One wrote: "That's not cool man. That's a real fish, that s*** is not an accessory."
Another posted: "That fish is going to die because of the amount of space it is in, you’re torturing that fish for what? An Instagram video, clout, views, looks that’s stupid and animal abuse."
Others pointed out the impracticality of having a fish bowl glued to the end of your finger.
One commented: "Imagine this at work... 'I must not drop these drinks and my fish'."
Another wrote: "So I'm confused why you would put that on your nail... 1. It's heavy 2. Without oxygen the fish will die, and 3. How do you use that hand??? I will say that's some imaginative s***. But no, not for nail salons to do on a regular basis."
The salon pointed out that the design was only made for the five minute shoot.
