What budget New Year's Eve activities are there in London?

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Head to Winter Wonderland for free and get the chance to explore the Christmas markets, fairground rides and a kid-friendly Santa Land.

There is also a host of bars and food venues to keep you busy throughout the night.

Alternatively try Winterville in Clapham Common and the markets in Leicester Square for more festive fun.

London Fireworks

The New Year Fireworks show in London is one of the most spectacular in the UK.

If you are a fan of free live music, ice skating, rides and fireworks, Cardiff Winter Wonderland could be your destination.

The festive event will be open all day, but the entertainment will kick off on the stage in front of City Hall from 7.30pm, with fireworks going off around midnight.
