Asda declare 2018 the ‘Year of the Unicorn’ as they unveil a new homeware collection dedicated to the mythical beasts with prices from just £4

ASDA are making 2018 the most magical year yet with the release of a new unicorn homeware range.

The supermarket had already delighted fans of the mythical beasts with their pastel and gold unicorn crockery set - and it turns out that was just the start.

Asda revealed that they expanded the range after tracking a staggering 79,000 searches on the George website in December alone.

And the best thing about the new designs is that they are very much aimed at adults, and will allow you to indulge in your horned horse fantasies from breakfast all the way until dinner.

New items now available online allow you to dish up multiple courses of magic with everything from teapots, and champagne flutes getting the unicorn treatment.

George Homeware Designer Natalie Ratcliffe explained: "This is the third unicorn range for George and we fully expect this one to be as successful, if not more so, than the previous.

“The difference in this range is that we’ve responded to the overwhelming demand for a more ‘grown-up’ selection of products, and given the customers exactly what they want – the unicorn has officially graduated, in terms of style, for 2018.

“We knew nostalgia would be a key player this year as part of Cosmic Retro but the unicorn as a standalone micro trend is still going from strength to strength, so for all those unicorn fans out there, you’ve got a lot to look forward to.”
