ALL eyes are on Meghan Markle as she makes her first appearances as a royal-to-be.

And one of the major talking points has been about her scraped-back hair style, which contrasts to Kate Middleton’s flawless, flowing locks.

When has Meghan Markle worn a messy bun?

While Kate Middleton is most known for her big, bouncy hairdos, Meghan is proving one of her favourite looks is a casual messy bun.

With her put-together wardrobe and flawless make-up, the Suits actress has rocked the hair-up look on a number of appearances.

One of the occasions she has worn the messy bun look was when she visited Brixton radio station with fiancée Prince Harry.

She also wore her hair up when she travelled to Cardiff Castle and the Star Hub leisure centre in Tremorfa to see how sport encourages disadvantaged children.

How can you get a messy bun like Meghan Markle?

YouTuber revealed a simple tutorial for achieving the casual bun look.

1) Part your hair as normal and take two front sections forward on each side.

2) Scrape the rest of hair back into a messy, low pony tail.

3) Pull the ponytail through the hair band as if you were doing a bun, but leave the length dangling.

4) Take a curling iron to add some curls to the dangling bits of hair at the back.

5) Wrap bits of dangling hair round the bun and pin it with hair slides (it doesn’t have to be perfect and messy strands look better).

6) Curl the front bits and take them back and pin them around the bun too.

7) Gently pull and tease strands of hair on the top of your head to give it more volume and to look less tight.

8) Spray the bun to hold it.
