It was also the spitting image of the frock Prince William's late mother Diana wore following the birth of Prince Harry, 33, in September 1984.

She paired the gown with a classic pair of classic court shoes by one of Holly Willoughby's favourite designers, Gianvito Rossi.

The shoes cost £495, .

What is Kate Middleton’s maternity style?

Kate's dress sense oozes sophistication and elegance – even while heavily pregnant.

She's rarely seen in dresses with hemlines that fall above the knee, but she does enjoy wearing garments that are structured and fitted.

Although she has some designer favourites, she does manage to make high street brands like Zara and JCrew look chic.

From bouncy blow-dries to royal up-dos, Kate Middleton’s locks have been the envy of the nation.

The moment the Royals announced their engagement in 2010, Kate’s hair had a right royal epiphany.

She grew her locks for the special occasion, showcasing relaxed waves and one hell of a shine which became her trademark.

On the rare occasion that her nails do have a slick of polish on them, she opts for a nude shade, similar to the Queen’s personal favourite.
