Grammys 2018 best dressed: Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Beyonce win the red carpet style stakes
Stylish stars were out in force for the starry ceremony in New York’s Madison Square Garden
LADY Gaga, Beyonce and Miley Cyrus topped the best dressed list at this year’s Grammys.
The stylish stars made sure all eyes were on them when they stepped out onto the red carpet with their fashion forward choices.
Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, wowed the crowds in a couture Versace lace bodysuit.
The outfit was finished off with a skirt which had a billowing train.
When she posed for pictures, the superstar revealed the enormous swathe of material which almost took up the whole width of the red carpet.
The 31-year-old, who gave an emotional performance during the ceremony, wasn’t the only one who wowed on the night however.
Beyonce stole the show with a dramatic look designed to turn every head.
The singer, who attended with husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy, looked incredible in a black velvet bare-shoulder gown with double slits to show off her legs, designed by Nicolas Jebran.
The real statement was the sculpted hat, also by Jebran, and she also wore Jimmy Choo heels and huge dangling Lorraine Schwartz earrings – containing 70 carats of diamonds.

Miley Cyrus wore not one, but two outfits, to the glamorous event.
The singer arrived in a chic black jumpsuit which she accessorised with a white flower.
She then swapped into a stunning red dress by Zac Posen that came with a glamorous sweetheart neckline.
It was this outfit she wore for a duet with Elton John later in the evening.
Rita Ora looked incredible in a black gown which had a large split down the left hand side.
The singer’s glam squad styled her hair into classic Hollywood waves and finished her look with a strong red lip.
Camila Cabello sizzled in a bright red gown which accentuated her curves.
The former Fifth Harmony star oozed confidence as she posed for pictures when she arrived at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Mum-to-be Chrissy Teigen was a vision in a sequinned silver gown which had large draping sleeves.
The model made sure she dazzled in front of the cameras as she posed with her hands on her baby bump.
Singer Bebe Rexah was also praised for her style choice.
The 28-year-old’s figure-hugging dress left little to the imagination but was a hit with fashion fans.
The nude gown was covered with gems and beads which caught under the lights of the carpet.
Julia Michaels’ classic mauve gown was a hit with fashionistas.
The sheer lace dress had a plunging neckline and the singer accessorised the look with simple diamond jewellery.
Katie Holmes wowed with her stylish black dress.
The fashion forward choice was a risk for the actress who normally plays it safe on the red carpet.
But it certainly paid off, as she topped the best dressed lists on the night.
Not everyone impressed however, with stars including Pink and Lana Del Ray topping the worst dressed list.
Tonight many of the stars on the red carpet showed their support for the #MeToo campaign and Time’s Up movement by wearing a white rose.
Hundreds of stars, including Pink, Fergie, Rita Ora and Zayn Malik, signed a letter released by Voices Of Entertainment which encouraged everyone to wear the symbolic flower.
The letter said they wanted to add “a heightened awareness of accountability that our sisters started on January 1st and continued through the Golden Globes and onward.”
It went on to say: “Inspired by the #TimesUp campaign, tonight we stand with our brothers and sisters in music in support of equal representation in the workplace.
“White roses were chosen because they are symbolic of ‘hope, peace, sympathy and resistance.’”
