Too Faced reveals Unicorn inspired make-up collection… but there’s a catch
Update your make-up bag for spring with these gorgeous pastel shades and shimmery highlighters - but you'll have to wait until the weather gets warmer
IF YOU thought taking beauty inspiration from a unicorn involved intricate pastel-dyed hair and wearing glitter on half of your face, then think again.
Beauty brand Too Faced is launching a new collection inspired by the mythical beasts which it’s absolutely stunning - and wearable.
The collection is titled ‘Life’s a Festival’, and the products are rainbow coloured and iridescent - but unfortunately you're going to have to wait until March 15 to get your hands (or hooves) on them.
If you like to get creative with eye make-up, then the eyeshadow palette (£34) has 12 colours, which are mostly glittery, but have a few matte shades if you’re wanting to play it safe.
The Unicorn Tears Bronzer (£25) and Rainbow Strobe Highlighter (£34) may seem daunting, but are designed to give you a “warm bronze of sunlight” or “shimmering rainbow effect”, according to the product descriptions.
No collection is complete without a set of lipsticks, and the La Crème Mystical Lipsticks (£18 each) magically change according to your body temperature.
The Magical Crystal Lip Toppers (£18 each) can be applied over the top (or worn alone), giving a holographic effect which changes in the light.
Unicorn themed make-up has to include some gorgeous highlighters, and the Unicorn Horn Highlighting Sticks (£22 each) come in ‘Dreams’ and ‘Tears’, and can be directly applied onto the cheekbones (or wherever else a unicorn would highlight) – so perfect for a fuss-free festival make-up bag.
The Festival Refresh Spray (£22) is designed to refresh skin at festivals, and is infused with a “festival scent” – but don’t worry, they don’t mean portable toilets and unwashed hair, it actually contains rose quartz and smells “dreamy”.
Finally, there’s a Magic Rainbow Strobing Brush (£18), to add a pop of colour to your brush collection, and some gorgeous heart-shaped sunglasses, but be warned, these will set you back £66, so better start saving if you’re wanting them for the festival season.
The entire collection launches on March 15 online on and , and a few select stores.
But if you really can’t wait, then you can sneak a peek on on March 1, and also visit their flagshop store on Carnaby Street.
After all the smoky eyes and deep reds that we were used to rocking in December, we can’t wait to update our collections with some gorgeous shimmery pastels.
