Fans are concerned about Ferne McCann’s health due to her choice of baby pram… so is it really too small?
The former Towie star shared a snap of her cooing at daughter Sunday in the pushchair yesterday
FERNE McCann fans expressed concern for the new mum's health yesterday after she shared a snap of her daughter Sunday in her "pram".
The former Towie star, 27, who wowed in a stunning emerald green cropped jumper and trousers from , was appearing as a judge at the Made For Mums Awards in London yesterday.
During the day she posted a cute picture , in which she pulls a funny face at her little one while holding onto the "pram" handle.
But eagle-eyed followers were quick to comment on Ferne's choice of pushchair, with many suggesting it was too small and could hurt her back.
One wrote: "Wow that looks like a doll's pram," while another commented: "That pram looks so small, hope your back is okay."
And one added: "It’s such a rubbish pushchair or a car seat smaller than her, must hurt her back, oh god."
Ferne did point out that Sunday's "pram" is actually a Doona car seat , which transforms into a pushchair.
The product claims to be the "first car seat with integrated wheels, changing from car seat to stroller in seconds".
It has wheels for you to use once it's out of the car and is designed for "on the go" parents, for short trips like nipping into a shop and collecting a child from school, rather than as a replacement for your everyday pushchair.
We asked Jo Studholmem, a spokesperson at , whether she thought Ferne's fans were right to be concerned.
She explained: "Doona allows you to do short trips without waking your little one, where previously you may have put your infant carrier onto your pushchair chassis.
"However, the handle only adjusts to 99cm, which is relatively low compared to some pushchairs. The MeeGo Milano, for example, extends to 124cm, but on average, pushchair handles are generally between 105-110cm.
"So for a taller person, they may not find the Doona comfortable to push for long periods.
"We would not recommend the Doona as a replacement for your pram or pushchair.
"The advice with babies is not to leave them in a car seat for too long - which is why there have been so many comments around this product - and if this is observed then there are no issues with the Doona."
Jo pointed out alternatives which some parents may prefer if they need to keep their child in a car seat when out of the car, or if they find the Doona handle height too low.
"Some car seats, such as the Cybex Cloud Q and Kiddy Evoluna i-size, become lie-flat when attached to a pushchair chassis, which overcomes the time issue and allows parents to safely leave their baby in the car seat for longer periods," she said.
"Alternatively, we recommend lifting your baby out of the car seat into the pram or pushchair - products like the Snugglbundl (a lifting blanket) can help with this as baby is less likely to wake up."
If you like the look of the Doona, you can pick one up at .
Meanwhile Ferne's outfit cost just £35 - here's where you can find it.

Ferne, who gave birth to baby Sunday in November last year, recently admitted she is fed up of people constantly criticising her parenting decisions.
She told OK! magazine: "I am so sick of women being judged continuously and, as a new mum, I have never felt so judged.
"Being a new mum is pressure enough without having my every move scrutinised and falsified."
Last month she was blasted for drinking Prosecco before breastfeeding her daughter.
