Would you wear glitter on your forehead? Make-up artist claims the trend will sweep the country this season

FROM decorated bums to sparkly boobs, glitter has been one of the biggest beauty trends for festivals and parties.

And now there is a new trend to wear the shiny stuff on your forehead – and a make-up artist has said the fad is set to sweep the country.

The glitter fod look was seen at London Fashion Week at Preen’s AW18 show, curtesy of legendary make-up artist Val Garland.

Models strutted their stuff down the catwalk with a covering of magical glitter shining from above their eyes.

Val applied , which costs £16.50 for a 4.5g pot and is currently available to buy online.

The shiny look for the show was said to be inspired by Korean Haenyo divers, with the glitter supposed to resemble water glistening on their faces.

If you are keen to try the glitter forehead look at home, it is actually very easy to achieve.

Val recommended applying foundation to your skin if you normally would, but leaving off adding powder.

Then, put the glitter on a book or tissue and hold around 50cm from your face.

Get a friend to blow it onto your skin, or if you are by yourself or prefer to make minimal mess, apply it with a cotton bud with Vaseline to make it stick.

Whether for a party, festival or just a night out, you are sure to stand out from the crowd.
