RELATIONSHIPS may start off warm and fuzzy, but as time goes on you start to realise the little habits that bother you.
While some people are able to look pass the annoyances, for others they become deal-breakers and signal the end of a romance.
Men and women have revealed their top bug bears that they would consider splitting up over, and they didn’t hold back.
The top deal-breaker was a partner that was messier and less clean than you.
A staggering 71 per cent of people surveyed by said this trait was unacceptable and would be grounds for a break-up.
Other deal-breakers in the top few included a partner that was less intelligent than you, or if they were less easy-going.
Having a different religion or political views proved to be a top factor for breaking up.
The survey also looked at factors that wouldn’t be a massive issue for couples.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, having a partner that earned more money didn’t prove to be a big problem, with 84 per cent saying they were comfortable with that concept.

Couples also didn’t mind if their partners were more spontaneous, were less or more sexually experienced or had more ambition.
