The world’s biggest Primark is coming to Birmingham city centre
Set over five floors, on the site of a former shopping centre, this shop is sure to stock all your favourite Disney goodies...
THE world's biggest Primark is coming to Britain later this year, so it's time to start getting excited.
It's being built on the site of a former shopping centre, and will be 160,000 sq ft worth of space for fabulous clothes, accessories and Disney homeware - among other goodies - spread over five impressive floors.
The new flagship store is opening in Birmingham city centre, where the Pavilions Shopping Centre used to be, and will replace an existing shop on New Street.
At the moment, Manchester has the UK's biggest Primark, with a 155,000 sq ft shop in Market Street - a former John Lewis building set over three floors.
Primark bought the site back in 2014, for a rumoured £60 million, and expect to have finish the project in December this year - that's in just nine months' time.
A spokesman told Sun Online: “The new Primark in Birmingham will be the largest in the world, with five floors of our amazing fashion at amazing prices.”
So whatever Disney goodies Primark has up its sleeve for later this year, they're sure to be in good supply in the enormous shop - which is expected to have an impressive 800 employees.
As Regina George would say, "get in loser, we're going shopping".
