Primark is selling a pink children’s unicorn-print swimming costume for just £5

PRIMARK is selling a unicorn swimming costume – and it’s a must for fans of the mythical beast.

The budget-friendly store unveiled the fantasy-print one-piece on its Instagram page today.

The £5 children’s cossie is pink with a frill around the waist and a picture of the magical creature on the front.

A photograph of the swimwear attracted nearly 5,000 likes in less than an hour.

“How cute!!” commented one excited shopper, while another added: “Oh my goodness! Need to do loads of swimming with the kids in the summer.”

Another said: “Omg it’s National Unicorn Day… Yasss!”

Britain has gone bonkers for unicorns in recent months, and now we've even got a National Day to help us celebrate the much-loved horned creatures.

Yes, it is on a Monday, but there will be no back-to-work blues, just rainbows and cakes and glitter.

And, if you're after a way to entertain the kids, why not get their mates round for a rainbow cupcake baking and icing session after school?

Ideally, dinner should consist of a beautiful bowl of unicorn noodles.

To recreate the magic at home - simply boil some red cabbage, cook your rice noodles (as per instructions) in the blue water, and add lemon juice to turn sections pink. Genius!
