Move over Meghan, Kate just reclaimed the crown as most stylish royal

Kate cradled newborn baby number three whilst tackling four steep steps in high heels - the new mum's equivalent of running the marathon

MOVE over Meghan. With one flick of her hair, Kate reclaimed the crown as the most stylish royal.

How does she do it? Yes, she has professional help but even if I’d had the whole of the Selfridges make-up department working on my face, I’d still have looked knackered so soon after giving birth to an 8lb 7oz baby.

That’s if I’d got it together to do something as complicated as pulling on tracksuit bottoms and walking.

Kate emerged from the Lindo Wing cradling her newborn looking radiant, just as she did with George and Charlotte.

She tore her eyes away from her hours-old son long enough to wave at the crowd and smile at the cameras, then protectively adjust his pristine, crocheted blanket.

Tackling four steep steps in high heels, as the Duchess of Cambridge did on her way home, is the new mum’s equivalent of running the marathon.
