People are convinced Prince Harry said ‘I’m sh**ting it’ to Meghan Markle at the altar, but here’s what he REALLY said
WATCHING your bride-to-be walk up the aisle is a pivotal moment for all grooms on their wedding day.
Naturally Prince Harry was probably feeling a bit nervous - but many viewers watching the spectacle at home reckon he outright told Meghan Markle he was "sh**ting it".
The new Duke of Sussex appeared the utter the obscenity after telling his beloved she "looked amazing".
One watcher tweeted: "Prince Harry telling Megan that he’s ‘sh**ting it’ was honestly one of my favourite royal moments."
Another wrote: "The fact that Harry told Meghan he was 'sh**ting it it' at the altar makes him a true 10/10. Future fiance take note."
"Prince Harry saying 'I'm s***ting it' is my highlight of the year," joked a fellow Twitter user.
But according to lip reader Tina Lannin, Prince Harry didn't utter the expletive in the moments before tying the knot.
She explained: "He definitely didn't say 'I'm shitting it' - it's a very fast clip, but it looks more like he's saying 'I’m serious'."
We're sorry to disappoint.
Meghan became the first ever Duchess of Sussex after tying the knot in a ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor today.
The couple delighted fans when they shared a kiss on the steps after emerging as husband and wife.
Here's how theirs compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton's, according to a body language expert.
