When was  Harry and Meghan's first public appearance?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle delayed their honeymoon to attend Prince Charles’ 70th birthday patronage party on Tuesday, May 22.

The world got their first look at the newly married couple as they arrived at the bash, with Meghan looking regal in a cream hat and matching outfit at her first event as a royal.

Charles – who walked Meghan down the aisle after her father was unable to attend – celebrated the milestone with a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

Prince Charles' birthday is in November, but this event recognises patronages and military affiliations as well as charities supported by the Prince of Wales.
