This is why Meghan Markle’s handwriting has changed since she met Prince Harry

An expert reveals what her new signature says about the Duchess of Sussex

MEGHAN Markle’s handwriting has always been so perfectly formed that she worked as a calligrapher before making it as an actress.

But since meeting Prince Harry, her signature has dramatically changed.

A thank you letter Meghan sent to fan Emily Sorrells in 2016 shows an elegant, formal sloping signature.

But a guest book the Duchess of Sussex signed on a recent trip to Belfast with Harry shows an informal scrawl which looks nothing like her previous signature.

Handwriting analyst Tracey Trussell of Hand Right told it shows Meghan has become more relaxed since meeting her Prince.

She said: “It is apparent that Harry is having a very positive affect on Meghan.

“Meghan is much more sensitive than people realise, and with Harry's royal clout and protection she has been able to relax and blossom more naturally and fulfil her desire to be a humanitarian and do ‘good deeds’.”

She added that her main motivation had been to earn money but, now she no longer has any financial worries, she can relax and focus on helping others.

Tracey revealed her old handwriting was very controlled, with dominant loops, large letters and a right-leaning slant

She said: “Meghan's old handwriting was formal, professional and polished but showed a lot of self-control and discipline, she had a real perfectionist's streak.

“She came across as being outwardly confident, and adept at creating a facade.”

But she said Meghan’s new signature is “less contrived” and more natural than her old style of signing and showed her “ebullient passion and enthusiasm for life.”

She added: “The little hook at the start of her capital 'M' also reveals that once she has set her heart on something, nothing will stop her until she's satisfied her goal.”

Tracey also pointed out that, in the guest book, Meghan’s signature nestled into Harry’s, meaning she sees him as her “new protector.”

She said: “Her handwriting suggests she is a romantic, passionate and devoted woman, who will need the protection of the man she loves.”

Yesterday we revealed Meghan's jewellery collection was now worth over a million.
