CAMILA Cabello and Pharrell Williams have released THE single of the summer with their new song Sangria Wine.
Now, dancers, choreographers and Camila herself have posted tutorials on YouTube teaching us how to dance to the sultry hit.
What is the Sangria Wine dance move?
First came the song, but now Camila has posted a video on YouTube teaching us all how to dance to it.
She shares her moves alongside fellow dancers who perform it with her.
Here are the moves...
- First, you hold your hand out like you’re holding a glass of sangria, with the stem of the glass poking through your fingers.
- Next, take your other hand and motion like you’re stirring the glass’s contents.
- At the same time, cross your right foot over your left, then your left over your right, and continue to repeat.
Here's how he does it...
- Start by spreading your legs slightly so your hips are pointing in different directions.
- Next you’re going to push one hip up and round, followed by the other.
- At the same time as moving each hip, also turn the heel of your corresponding foot outwards.
- Draw the foot round and as you bring the hip back in, bring the foot back in too.
- Then repeat the move with the other hip and corresponding foot.
Once you’re feeling confident, you can expand on the move.
- As you lift your hip and turn your heel out, you turn the feel of your supporting leg in.
- Then turn in the toe of the supporting leg, as you bring your opposite hip and heel back in too.
- Brendon’s top tip is to make sure you lead with your hip each time.
When did Pharrell and Camila make up the move?
Pharrell Williams and Camila Cabello’s single Sangria Wine was released on May 18.
The duo performed the song at the Billboard Music Awards on May 21, both doing the now famous glass-stirring dance.
Then in early June, Camila posted a tutorial video for the dance on YouTube, labelling it as a challenge to get people dancing to it.
However an official music video is still to come.
Which celebrities have done it?
Camila and Pharrell’s dance to Sangria Wine is sure to take off this summer.
In her tutorial, Camila brings on a very special guest to perform the dance: her mum.
