Los Angeles based brand Nasty Gal is known for its eclectic, vintage-inspired clothing, so who better to collaborate with than Emma Louise Connolly?
The British model has just released her with the e-tailer and we’re officially obsessed.
- Embroidered midi dress, £40 -
An Instagram influencer and girlfriend of Made in Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock, Connolly has garnered a fashion following due to her impeccable high-low taste and knack for nonchalant styling.
Her Nasty Gal collection follows that feeling with its western theme: there are girlish ruffled dresses toughened up with cowboy boots, distressed denim, corduroy flares and prairie details like broderie anglaise, bardot necklines, ruffled trims and corseting.
Shot in the Wright Ranch in Malibu, the campaign feels really natural, with Emma Lou giggling against a dreamy landscape and blue skies.
Obviously, every single item is on our wish list but, if you can't buy it all, we've rounded up the best bits here:
- Corduroy jacket, £35 -
- Printed shirt, £20 -
- Corduroy flares, £30 -
- Knitted dress, £30 -
- Cowboy boots, £40 -
The key western pieces in this collection are the cowboy boots, corduroy co-ords, flared pants, bohemian knitted dresses and low-slung leather belts.
- Satin wrap dress, £50 -
- Ruffled floral-print dress, £40 -
There are so many dresses with playful detailing - skinny scarves, corset belts, convertible sleeves - in the collection but, without a doubt, this scarlet satin dress is our favourite (Connolly recently wore it to Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor's wedding.) Wear it with heels to events or bring it back down to earth with a pair of cowboy boots.
- Straw beret, £12 -
- Slogan T-shirt, £15 -
- Denim skirt, £25 -
- Printed T-shirt, £15 -
The sassy slogan T-shirts are so easy to style up or down - try wearing them with distressed denim or lace-up leather shorts. Or, go all -out with a bold straw beret.
- Polka-dot dress, £30 -
- Broderie anglaise top, £20 -
We love the lace-up detailing on the dresses and in the collection but if you want to save a few pennies, buy a versatile belt to spice up an old dress you've already got in your wardrobe.
