KENSINGTON Palace has released the adorable official photos from Prince Louis' christening, giving us an intimate look at one of the country's most famous families.
This is what the heartwarming photos say about the royal family besotted with their sweet new arrival…
The proud immediate family can be seen beaming around their latest bundle of joy, and this is the sweet moment big sister Princess Charlotte looked away from the photographer briefly to gaze at her new brother.
There's no denying the sweet look she is giving her new playmate and Prince George looks over the moon too to be gaining a partner in crime.
If you look closely, little Charlotte is gently holding the newborn's hand in the shot. We can't handle the cuteness!
The photos were captured by photographer Matt Holyoak, who also was tasked with photographing Queen and Prince Philip to mark their 70th wedding anniversary last year.
The Queen and Prince Philip did not attend the christening of Prince Louis at St James's Palace as they were instead travelling back from Norfolk.
But that doesn't mean she wasn't there in spirit.
An oil on canvas portrait shot of the 92-year-old monarch can be seen in the background and appears to have been moved several inches up the wall so it could be in shot.
Prince Louis wore the same gown that Prince George and Princess Charlotte wore for their christenings.
The robe was made by Angela Kelly in 2008 and was commissioned by the Queen.
The original was made in 1841 and commissioned by Queen Victoria for her firstborn, Princess Victoria.
It was styled after her own wedding dress, and was made of Spitalfields lace with a Honiton lace overlay.
The royal youngsters look delighted to be celebrating the arrival of a new brother.
Standing next to his dad, Prince George, four, is looking more and more like Prince William each day.
And with her cheeky grin and confident gaze, Princess Charlotte is stealing the show in this shot.
Holding onto her mum's skirt, the tot, three, shows the close bond she has with Kate.
The stunning photos show newly wed Meghan, 36, wearing an olive green Ralph Lauren outfit and Stephen Jones hat, tenderly links her hand through hubby Harry’s arm - an affectionate gesture not being carried out by other couples in the collection.
The same image also shows the Duchess of Cambridge, 36, wearing in a calf-length white dress by Alexander McQueen and Jane Taylor hat, glowing as she cradles baby Louis and is flanked by Prince George, aged four, and Princess Charlotte, aged three, who gazes lovingly at her baby brother.
Other family members in the series of four pictures, which were released by Kensington Palace, are grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla, Carole Middleton, Michael Middleton, Pippa Matthews, James Matthews and James Middleton.
The photographs were taken in the morning room and garden at Clarence House.
Prince Louis was then christened in a private, 40-minute ceremony conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby in the Chapel Royal last Monday.
It was one of the first glimpses the public have had of the young prince, who appeared to be sleeping.
It had been reproduced by dressmaker to the Queen Angela Kelly and was worn by his older siblings, George and Charlotte at their christenings.
Little Louis, who is fifth in line to the throne, has six godparents.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose two hymns, two lessons and two anthems for the christening of their son. The Hymns were O Jesus, I Have Promised and Lord of All Hopefulness.
The lessons were from Mark 10: 13-16, read by godparents Lucy Middleton and Ephesians 3: 14-19, read by Guy Pelly.
St James's Palace is the most senior palace of the British Monarchy, and it's also where Prince George's christening was in 2013.
It has played host to a lot of iconic royal events throughout the years, including Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's wedding and was the location for Prince Louis' christening on July 9.
The Archbishop of Canterbury baptised the young prince, who was Kate and William's first-born, making him the direct descendant to the throne.
Grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla attended along with Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle.
On the Middleton side, Kate's sister Pippa Matthews attended along with her husband James, brother James and parents Carole and Michael.
The new godparents and their spouses were also there.
These are Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly and Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, as well as Lady Laura Meade, Mrs Robert Carter, otherwise known as Hannah Gillingham, and Kate's cousin Lucy Middleton.
