AS the school’s great ready to break up for the summer holidays the annual family trip is nearly upon us.
Despite the heatwave hitting the UK, many of us will jet off to foreign countries to enjoy a much-needed break.

Even the royals – and parliament – take a holiday with sun-soaked snaps of the Queen and family providing us with holiday goals.
With their family holidays taking them on luxury yachts and private islands, we take a peek inside their family album.
It seems staycations were popular with the older generations, with the Queen, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana spending lots of time in and around the UK.
The younger royals seem to favour exotic destinations such as the Bahamas and the Caribbean, including the island of Mustique.

The island is rumoured to be where Prince William and Kate Middleton have whisked their kids off to make the most of the school holidays.
One theme which they all seem to enjoy is boats, with royal ships, yachts and even speedboats frequently popping up in royals' holiday snaps.
