Vicky Pattison admits she ‘rushed into’ marriage plans with John Noble – but confirms they WILL wed next summer as she’s desperate to have kids
The 30-year-old Jungle Queen postponed her extravagant £175,000 wedding earlier this year - but now reveals it's full steam ahead
VICKY Pattison has revealed she’s planning to get hitched next summer - because she’s “not getting any younger” and wants to start trying for a family.
The 30-year-old Jungle Queen postponed her wedding to fiancé John Noble back in January - and now admits the couple “rushed into” marriage plans.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous Online Vicky, who’s the new face of YourGoodSkin, said: “I definitely want to stick to next summer (for the wedding).
“Neither of us are getting any younger and I would like to start a family so we’re very keen to get married next year - and whatever follows follows.”
Vicky met businessman John at a house party in Newcastle eight years ago and, back then, they dated for six months.
They split when Vicky was offered a job on MTV’s Geordie Shore.
The racy reality show saw her shoot to fame, rack up a £1 million net worth and secure deals with huge fashion brands like HoneyZ.com.
In 2016, after years of no contact, Vicky and John bumped into one another on a train.
They were then pictured together in November while she was filming Extra Camp in Australia and have been inseparable ever since.

Talking about the wedding plans the former Geordie Shore star added: “We are terrible together. We got engaged last summer, and the first thing we both thought was ‘we love each other, we’re going to get married’.
“But we hadn’t thought about who was going to plan it.
“I work hard and he works hard, and neither of us wanted to take tour foot off the gas in that respect.
“So time just crept away and that led to us postponing the wedding, and now we are aiming for summer 2019.”
John and Vicky got engaged in July 2017 when the Newcastle-born businessman popped the question with a stunning 3.6-carat marquise-cut diamond ring.
Convinced he’d taken her on walk to break up with her, Vicky was so shocked that she burst into tears.
Now, a year on, the pair are more loved-up than ever and have finally had some time to think about what they want out of their big day.
“We have gone right back to the drawing board, we’re stripping everything back, we have no venue, originally we had one, but we’re going to get a wedding planner,” Vicky said.
“I feel really under qualified, it’s a bit overwhelming.”
The couple initially called off their extravagant £175,000 ceremony in January 2018 because Vicky said she was “not ready to be a wife”.
Rumours were rife that a split was on the cards - but Vicky insists this was never the case.
She said: “I think I’ve learnt to have quite a thick skin over the years.
“I had my engagement announcement in OK! Magazine, and I can hardly complain then when people are interested in our wedding.
“But when I’m feeling emotional and frustrated it’s very easy to get upset.
“I knew there was nothing wrong with me and John. I knew we were great, and I knew I loved him.
“But we probably rushed into it, we hadn’t thought how much work was involved.
“My sister is getting married this year. I didn’t want to take away from her spotlight.
“I’ve got a couple of big shows coming up. I’ve already done I’m A Celebrity Australia, in South Africa, and that was six weeks.
“I was meant to be getting married a couple of months after that. It just wasn’t viable.
“We made the right choice for us, but that didn’t stop the rumours.
“I think we’re strong enough to deal with it.”
But this time last year Vicky had a very different outlook on her future, saying she and John had no plans for kids.
“I’m still in the footloose and fancy free stage and John is in that as well,” she said at the time, “so there’s no talk of children and they’re definitely not on the horizon.”

Of course a lot can change in a year, and it seems this Geordie lass may be ready to hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet.
As for going on a wedding diet – Vicky isn’t bothered.
In fact, she thinks the constant scrutiny stars are under nowadays over their weight is “unfair” and “pathetic”.
Back in March Vicky, fellow Geordie Scarlett Moffatt and Towie's Lauren Goodger were hit by claims their lucrative fitness DVDs were the result of "starvation and dangerous methods".
Fitness expert David Souter said the trio overhauled their image by attending gruelling bootcamps.
But Vicky has always insisted her weight loss for 2013 video Vicky's 7 Day Slim, which netted her £160,000, came from genuine hard work
Scarlett's recently come under fire again for her post fitness DVD weight gain, but Vicky was quick to defend the Gogglebox star.
She said: “I can really relate to Scarlett, because we’ve gone through quite a similar journey. Last year was the busiest year of her life. She was so in demand.
“She’s an amazing TV presenter and a lovely girl, and I think at the bottom of it all she’s just normal.
“I think she was pulled from pillar to post and understandably one of the first things that fell to the wayside was her health and fitness. It happens.
“It’s the same with me when I’m busy. You don’t make time to go to the gym six days a week. You’re not agonising over weighing your avocado.
“So I feel like it’s unfair. I feel like she’s normal and she’s human and she’s smashing it career wise, so why don’t people focus on that instead of dragging her down for something as pathetic as gaining a little bit of weight?
“I think she still looks fantastic and as long as Scarlett’s happy why does anyone else care? We should probably give her a bit more credit, and stop reducing women to a size.”
As a skincare brand developed by women for women, Vicky said recent venture with YourGoodSkin was “the perfect fit” for her.
She added: “I know I’m prone to breakouts when I’m stressed or when I’m not eating as well as I should, or when I’ve had a couple too many shandies.
“These products are perfect for that. They combat certain things in your life that I didn’t think I could control.
“Spikes in your hormones, anything that’s unpredictable, your diet and things like that. So that’s what appealed too me.
“Ever since I was younger I’ve had quite oily skin. Now I’m prone to dry patches and all sorts.

“The cystic acne was something I grew out of but I got a lot of blocked pores and spots from over-use of fake tan.
“I never thought I would have skin like this now. I remember having to go to the doctors and all sorts as a kid, it was something that really got me down.
“So now, at 30 years old, to actually wear no make-up at all the majority of the time is a dream come true.”
