WOMEN'S bodies come in all different shapes and sizes, so it makes sense that we would have varying types of nipple too.
In fact, according to paediatrician and dermatologist Dr Tsippora Shainhouse, there are eight different kinds.
From protruding to flat, hairy and inverted, Dr Shainhouse has revealed to that all types are totally normal.
In fact, it's also pretty common (and again, normal) to have two different kinds.
Stray hairs growing out of the areola area are very common - and although it's not something we regularly publicise - they are normal.
Some women are hairier than others, and hairs can be fine or coarse. Dr Shainhouse also notes it is safe to pluck them if you want to.
