Fashion Nova is selling a lace-up skirt that shows off half your bum… and there are mixed opinions on Instagram

FASHION Nova is known for its super-sexy collection, which features cut-outs, plunging necklines and high hems.

But the retailer has really outdone itself with its latest offering, selling a barely-there skirt that's almost impossible to wear underwear with.

The camo-print piece is incredibly short, just about skimming the bottom of the wearer's bum.

A good chunk of the derrière still ends up on display, thanks to the asymmetric shape of the material - and its complete lack of sides.

The thighs are left entirely uncovered, with nothing but a set of black laces keeping things in place.

We may sound like our grandmas, but we're a little worried someone may catch their death.

The skirt has divided opinion over on Instagram, with many confused about what they'd wear beneath it.

Comments include: "I want to know how you wear underwear under that skirt," and: "Are you supposed to wear panties with this?"

Another joked: "I mean just leave your house naked, surely?"

But others love how unique it is, with one person writing: "I don’t like skirts but this is cute."
