When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday falls on Friday 29 November and will run until Cyber Monday (2 December).
It always comes the day after the US holiday of Thanksgiving, which is traditionally the fourth Thursday in November and means it will happen on Thursday 28 November.
With that in mind Black Friday is typically the fourth Friday in November, though this year it actually falls on the fifth Friday.
However, there is more meaning to Black Friday than the best discounts of the year.
Many brands do pre and post-Black Friday sales, with further discounts fluctuating into December.
Is ASOS taking part in Black Friday this year?

Cyber Monday falls on Monday 2 December this year, when additional discounts can be picked up.
Many major brands ramp up the deals on this day such as Glossier, John Lewis and Argos.
ASOS has confirmed it's taking part over on its , confirming the offers will run 'from Friday 29 November all the way through to Cyber Monday on 2 December.'
There's potential for lots more discounts to be added to hundreds of existing sale items on Cyber Monday, so it's a great day to shop.
However, we'd always recommend snapping up a good deal as soon as possible, as there's a chance items will sell out.
How much does ASOS's shipping cost?
ASOS offers a unlimited next day and nominated day service for £9.95 annually.
Otherwise, standard delivery is £4.50 and will be with you within three days, or is free for orders over £40.
Next Day Delivery is £5.95 and orders need to be placed between 7am to 10pm to qualify.
