The River Island Black Friday sale has officially begun! You can get up to 25% off its entire product range, using the code BFDROP at checkout.

It's 25% off when you spend £150 or more, 20% off when you spend £85, and 15% when you spend £50.

That includes menswear, womenswear, girlswear and boyswear - and also beauty. It's the perfect opportunity to update your wardrobe at bargain prices, or to get a jump on your Christmas shopping. Or both!

When is Black Friday 2022?

Black Friday falls on the day after the American Thanksgiving holiday each year.

This year it will take place on November 25. But many retailers start discounting items ahead of the day itself - including River Island.

That's why it's always best to be prepared and know exactly what you want to buy before the big day arrives.

What to expect in the River Island Black Friday 2022 sale?

is one of several major fashion chains to take part in Black Friday sales, meaning that their already-reasonably priced clothes get even cheaper.

But it is not just clothing where shoppers can expect to see discounts, the brand's accessories, beauty and homeware ranges also feature in the sale deals.

When is Cyber Monday 2022 and will River Island be taking part?

Cyber Monday will fall on November 28 this year, with a continuation of deals on offer from retailers.

Traditionally an online-only event, Cyber Monday offers can now usually be found in stores and online, allowing shoppers to take full advantage of the price cuts ahead of the festive season.

Last year, River Island offered a final 20% off everything on purchases over £75 on Cyber Monday— so shoppers can expect another exclusive deal for this year's event.

But we will have to wait a little longer to find out exactly what that will be.

Best River Island Black Friday deals from last year

In 2021 unveiled savings of 20% across everything online with a special discount code deal.

Shoppers needed to spend £75 or more to be eligible for the discount, which ran until November 30, covering Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday.

Other retailers like ASOS and Very that also stock the brand were also offering plenty of deals already.

Where to buy River Island clothing?

Aside from shopping direct with River Island, there are a few other retailers that stock the high street brand too - so there's more than one way to shop some of your favourite looks.

If you're looking for a new drop from River Island, it's best to shop directly for all new arrivals from the brand.

How much does River Island's delivery cost?

Standard delivery costs £4, however, it is free if you spend £50 or more.

Next or nominated day delivery costs £6, but you have to order by 10pm the day before you want your items delivered (this goes back to 5pm on weekends).

Click and collect from a River Island store is also available for only £1 (or free on orders of over £20), and items sare ready to collect within five working days.

Does River Island offer any other discounts?

Students get 10% off at with a valid Student Beans or UNiDAYS account.

If you are employed by the NHS, Emergency Services or Armed forces you can get 15% off using a Blue Light Card.

Shoppers can also get 15% off orders for every friend that is referred via a unique link provided on your account.

There's the added bonus that your friend will also get 15% off — but it must be the first time they've shopped at River Island for either of you to get a discount.

Does River Island do Clearpay?

You can't use Clearpay when checking out through the .

But you can buy a River Island Gift Card using the service, which allows you to pay the cost of the card (in values ranging from £10 to £100) across four instalments.

River Island customers can use Klarna, which enables you to split the cost of your purchase over three instalments, paid within 60 days.

However, we advise you to use the service responsibly and avoid making purchases you won't be able to afford to pay off.

Yes, it is. It was established by Bernard Lewis in Notting Hill, in west London, in 1950 and swiftly grew into a clothing empire.

River Island still has its headquarters in west London and is still owned by the Lewis family.

Is River Island a designer brand?

It's not a premium designer brand in the sense of fashion shows and ridiculously high prices.
