WHAT a show! Victoria Beckham’s first show at London Fashion Week celebrates her 10th anniversary in the fashion business.
VB mixed fluid lines and a masculine tailoring in her signature style and wowed the FROW.
A slouchy white tuxedo opener kicked off proceedings, a real staple of Victoria’s eponymous line.
The masculine tailoring went from strength to strength with boxy blazers worn over skinny cigarette pants that were slashed at the front so the neatly fell over the soft flat shoes.
The Cape-backed dresses are bound to be a hit with Hollywood royalty, as were the Poppy red dresses that will be a red carpet hit in Spring.
Posh’s palette is so modern. She mixes her colours beautifully, camel and poppy orange, duck egg blue and burgundy mixed with simple monochromatic looks that break up the colour blocking.
The asymmetric dresses with fluid hemlines, the lace camisoles and lightweight tailoring are bound to be copied by the high street next season.
Candy Cane stripes, micro florals and lace were dotted through the collection, with the lace shirts and all over chiffon floral looks.
Everything was a real mix of either very masculine and very feminine and I would bet my last tenner that Insta stars will be wearing lingerie inspired slip dresses over skinny pants in February
Giant squashy pillow bags were perfect for a busy working mum like Posh.
Massive soft leather clutches that you could fit everything but the kitchen sink in may have a massive price tag but will definitely cause a social media storm!
The FROW was at it’s finest with all rubbing shoulders at the show with the hottest ticket of the week
Posh came out to take her bow in a classic camel blazer to the sound of “You Got the Love” by Florence and the Machine.
She looked thrilled if a little shy to be back in London and rushed over to David and the kids to give them her kisses.
Posh’s decade in the biz has proved to all the early doubters that she is a fashion force to be reckoned with!
She has definitely come a long way since she stepped out on the London catwalk for Maria Grachvogel in 2000 wearing gold hot pants!
Oh and if you are in the West end today you can drop by her Dover Street store and get a selfie and a signed T-shirt form Posh herself.
That’s’ what I love a about Victoria she is not too posh to push her product!
