Muggles can have Christmas dinner in Hogwarts’ Great Hall again this year

DO you dream of having a Christmas dinner in the Hogwarts’ Great Hall?
Grab your broom because your chance has arrived to have a feast fit for a Weasley in the famous dining room.
The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is once again opening up its doors to allow muggles and magic folk alike tuck into a meal this winter.
The Dinner in the Great Hall events will run in the evenings on December 10-12 and include drinks and canapes, before a sumptuous two-course Christmas feast.
If that wasn’t magical enough, guests will be able to have dessert served on Platform 9 ¾ next to the original Hogwarts Express train, before exploring the Studio Tour exclusively after hours.
Of course, the evening will conclude with Butterbeer, music and dancing, with a bar for those who wish to purchase additional tipples.
MENU FOR CHRISTMAS DINNER IN THE GREAT HALL
- Starter
Black treacle glazed salmon with crayfish, lemongrass and ginger - Vegetarian
Baked gnocchi with wild mushrooms, chard, tomato and brown butter - Vegan
Quinoa with heritage carrots, blood orange and pomegranate salad

Butter roasted turkey stuffed with pork, apricot, pistachio, duck fat roasted fondant potato, red cabbage, tenderstem and carrots - Vegetarian
Roasted squash, pearl barley and chestnut Wellington with parsnip purée, honey roasted root vegetables, crispy roast potatoes and rich gravy - Vegan
Butternut squash and potato “soufflé” with puy lentils, root vegetables, broccoli and pine nuts with a white wine sauce
The Great Hall will be transformed into a winter wonderland, with decorations used for the actual Yule Ball in the movie given pride of place.
The famous dining room will be brought to life with Christmas trees and the long dining tables will be dressed as they were for seasonal feasts at Hogwarts.
And it’s not the only set to be given a festive makeover.
As part of the tour’s Hogwarts in the Snow period – from November 17 to January 27 - many of the iconic sets will also be decorated as they were in the popular franchise during Christmas scenes.
DESSERT MENU FOR CHRISTMAS DINNER IN THE GREAT HALL
- Christmas pudding and brandy sauce and caramelised orange
- Cranberry, raspberry and sherry trifle with a pistachio shortbread
- Baileys panettone tiramisu with a hazelnut crumb
- Gingerbread granola with mulled wine poached apple and a cinnamon yoghurt (Vegan)
Keep a look out for the handmade Christmas cards in the cosy Gryffindor Common Room and Boys’ Dormitory, which were created by the cast members during production.
And the spectacular Hogwarts castle model will be given a blanket of “snow” meticulously applied by hand with a sieve.
Tickets for the Dinner in the Great Hall dining event don’t come cheap, so be prepared to dig deep for some galleons.
You can pick these up from September 25 at 10am from the for £240 per person.
The magical event will run from 6pm until midnight on these days, and adult wizards and witches will be seated at tables of 10 or 12.
