The UK city where women have the worst sex – with more than half disappointed between the sheets – revealed… so where does your rank?

A NEW study has revealed the UK cities where women are having the worst sex… so is your home on the list?

It’s bad news if you live in Oxford, which is the least pleasurable location for women, with over half of those surveyed (58 per cent), saying their partner isn’t satisfying them.

This was followed by Bristol (56 per cent), where the majority were also underwhelmed between the sheets.

Third place for sexual appetites not being satisfied is Brighton (55 per cent), followed by Glasgow (53 per cent), Newcastle (52 per cent) and Edinburgh (49 per cent).

However, it is good news if you live in Leeds, where 63 per cent of women said they were happy with the amount and quality of their sex lives.

But on the whole, the majority said they would like to up their sex sessions and improve the style.

The survey, conducted by feminine hygiene products Woo Woo, found that the average woman has sex twice a week, but would prefer to have it FIVE times.

Three quarters of those surveyed said they wanted more, and 60 per cent said they wished to have “better sex”.

One in five said that their sex drive was actually higher than their partner’s, but 18 per cent said that they had gone off sex with their current partner altogether.

Ten per cent admit they have had more sexual partners than their man thinks, and 11 per cent think their partner isn’t the best sex they’ve had.

A staggering 72 per cent have faked an orgasm, and the ideal length of a sex session, according to the survey, is 32 minutes.

It seems that British women are open to new and varying sexual experiences, with one in five admitting they would like to try sex toys for the first time.

And 17 per cent said they would like to try sex in a public location, and 15 per cent said they were tempted by a threesome, but were too scared to say it to their partner.

When it comes to stripping off, around half (49 per cent) say they are confident about their body when having sex.

But sadly one in six believe their body is a disappointment to them.

This may affect how women actually like the enjoy sex, with 60 per cent saying they prefer low-lighting and 12 per cent want it to be pitch black.

Elsa Gervais, Woo Woo brand manager said: “We wanted to find out how much fun modern women are actually having between the sheets, and whether they are getting the pleasure and excitement they deserve.

"It’s great to see women admitting to wanting more sex, women like sex just as much as men and shouldn’t be afraid to admit it or be shamed for doing so. Go after what you want ladies!”
